Wee..ee..

Finally 'graduated' from basic Buddhism course from KMS with Darren.

Benefited alot of things and enlightenment from this course. Like how to be a better person, forgive & forget, be optimistic, how to accept the unacceptable, Karma, various Buddha's teaching & traditions and from it really changes my perception on Buddhism whereby there' re many misunderstanding and discrimination on Buddhism by many people.

Out of the 12 sessions, i liked the best was the last lesson by a various Ven. His talk was very interesting and humourous. Perhaps maybe he's young ba.. more to our age. He talked abt how he taken refuge since 10 yrs old and the process to becoming a monk. I liked one of his sayings :'' I like examinations, but the lecturers dont like my answers." Lolx. We also discussed on Christianity on different verse in the Bible too. Both religious has the same practice but different goals. I feel that every religions are the same, just like different racials & enthnic groups we have, but we stand as ONE in Singapore. So we must learnt to respect each and every different religions and their individual practices and cultures. Time passed by fast, and by the time i realised, he had been talking for 3 hrs. Hopefully i still got chance to listen to his drama talks again.

Wanted to go for the intermediate course but then it only began next year whereby i started working le. So too bad. Maybe by chance i'm able to attend the Drama conference on certain events ba.
