just ended my 2 weeks of attachment in IMH, or to be precise, 9 days. During the first day in imh where after i had been exposed to the ward and patients, 9 days to me was lit " how am i going to survive this 9 days??" and just hoped this 9 days will be a fast one for me. And yes it was a really fast one for me where i realised that i fall in luv in working in my ward. And before i realised that, today was my last day in imh. For been to so many attachments for the 2 years, i never been felt so reluctant to leave a ward, and it was my first day too that how i wished i can stay on for a while more with my patients after my shift during my last day of attachments. Somehow for now, if you ask me to choose between redang or imh, i will choose imh. well you may find it duh, but i just dont know why.

In this 9 days, i had seen many patients with different conditions and their backgrounds as well as the sad stories behind them. Sometimes, we really want to help the patients in some way but then we are been restricted by the various laws & ethics, and it's so sad to see the disappointment on their face..

Next week, there will be a new batch of student nurses taking over us. The patients over there may or may not forget us, but i will always remembered them.

Not forgetting, our lecturer --> Mr. Buddy! Thanks for all your patience guidance with us! And the staffs over there too!

Well, in this attachment, i experienced alot of 1st time haha.
~ exposed to mental patients.
~ so freaked up during the 1st day of attachment.
~ played heart attack cum the babi version. lolx.
~ no bedside care.
~ played so much games within one day.
~ missed the patients so much.
~ crapped with a staff nurse lit nobody business.
~ enjoyed my attachment sooo much.
~ same ward with my kaki.
~ ordered pizza for dinner.
~ been "spied" by patients without knowing.
~ played mahjong.
~ worked in a so "key-based" environment.
~ really remembered pts by their names & not by their bed no.
~ been able to serve medications for so many times in 1 shift.
~ gave a hand-made thank-you card to staffs & lecturer.

..And not forgetting the fun we had!!!

well, i guess all the good times does have to come to an end right. yea. it's sad but that's life.
