one week had past, yet i dunnoe what i'm doing in ward 44.. first time i feel so useless in attachments sia.. and feel tat this posting is a waste to me.. this time round i was posted to a B1 ward, it's a surgical cum HD cum APU.. then we onli can go to the 3 general cubicles.. sometimes there are less than 6 patients in the general cubicles sia.. and yet there are so many of us students around whereby nurses are more than patients.. first time i feel so free during attachments.. at most i can onli look forward to morning shift and parameters time ba.. as morning shift u gt to do bed bathing and time passes more faster and if afternoon shift.. at most u can onli do parameters and nothing else.. feel so desperate to really find something to do in the ward for the first time.. so free here and yet so busy in the HD.. sometimes i realli wish i can help in there but too bad students are nt allowed to be in HD.. i wan to do dressings oso difficult to find chance to do it.. either the prcp 3rd yr are doin it as they are taking cases or we students nurse are not allowed to do it.. i still rmb tat day when my frenz wan to do a dressings on a patient and ltr when the daughter gets to noe tat student nurse is doin it, she was so angry and shouted at us in the cubicle so loud.. as the pt was admitted for wound infection and juz the day before, a student nurse done the dressing and had becum worse after tat day, so it kinda mean tat the wound had becum worse juz because it's a student nurse doin the dressings.. and in the end i oso dunnoe why i kena lectured by the pt's husband juz because he saw me outside and i have to control myself and say dunnoe how many times of sorry to him... so fr tat day no medical and nursing students are allowed to do procedure on tat patient..
sometimes i get to heard fr my friends tat they had completed so many skills tat i haven done yet.. then i will feel tat i'm so lousy and back behind from them.. i year 2 le.. still gt so mani things i haven gt a chance to do it.. chances depend whether u wan to grab it or let it go.. is it i didnt put in enough effort? i realli dunnoe. 3 more days i have to submit my learning guide le.. but till now i have nothing to fill in. how? tell me how? 5 more days to end my attachment.. hope i realli can gain something in tat 5 days ba..
todae slack and sleep the whole day at home.. want to do the case study yet i feel so restless so aimless and so unmotivated tat i went to sleep instead.. and had a bad dream from there.. arrghh..
i'm lost, someone please pick me up.
